The spoiler card has this cute logo featuring three bookish characters on one side…

…and the items plus their suppliers on the other.

Luna Art Print by TJLubrano: Luna is one of my favorite HP characters and this rendition of her is so cute, I love it! ❤

Newt Scamander & Occamy Bookmarks by Sara Michieli: these bookmarks are the best I’ve ever received in a box, the artwork is SO ADORABLE, they feel very high quality and best of all, they’re double-sided!

Demiguise & Niffler Bookmarks by Sara Michieli: more cuteness on the reverse of the bookmarks, yay! It’s cool that a definition accompanies the creatures, it’s like we’re reading Newt’s notes from the encyclopedia he was creating of his ‘Fantastic Beasts’…

Fantastic Beasts Art Print by Sara Michieli: I love that the individual designs on the bookmarks has been brought together for this art print with the addition of Pickett who totally stole my heart in the movie! So wonderful!

Groot Magnets by dks_art_design ($4.66 USD based on similar product): I really enjoyed both Guardians of the Galaxy movies and Groot is the standout fan fave, so hurray for these adorable magnets featuring Groot goodness!

Occamy Candle by bookish.intoxication.candles ($3.92 USD)

I fangirled so hard over this candle, I love the Occamy so I was already pleased with the artwork and then I got a special Occamy candle, OMG! The design is so pretty and the glitter on top of the candle looks amazing, plus the smell is divine, I just want to eat this. ❤

Harry Potter Cosmetic Bag by lizzicharlesworth

The HP pencil case that’s 10.5cm is $11.64 USD, and the cosmetic bag that is 13cm like this one but has faux-leather is $19.40 USD, so my estimate is $15 USD approx.

I know I’m over-using the word ‘cute’, but it applies to everything! These chibi characters ARE super cute, okay! This bag is stunning, my inner HP fangirl is screaming right now. 😀

The inside is fully lined, again another high quality product.

This was a special addition for the BFTW reps, so I was lucky enough to get a keyring in the matching fabric. 🙂

Author letter and themed bookmark.

The reverse of the bookmark displays the author’s details and we received a signed bookplate as well.

Whisper by Lynette Noni ($19.99 AUD)

Summary from Goodreads:

“Lengard is a secret government facility for extraordinary people,” they told me.

I believed them. That was my mistake.

There isn’t anyone else in the world like me.

I’m different. I’m an anomaly. I’m a monster.

For two years, six months, fourteen days, eleven hours and sixteen minutes, Subject Six-Eight-Four — ‘Jane Doe’ — has been locked away and experimented on, without uttering a single word.

As Jane’s resolve begins to crack under the influence of her new — and unexpectedly kind — evaluator, she uncovers the truth about Lengard’s mysterious ‘program’, discovering that her own secret is at the heart of a sinister plot … and one wrong move, one wrong word, could change the world.

This book was on my TBR, so that’s always fun getting a book already on my radar from a box. 😀 It sounds like Stranger Things meets Shatter Me, so I’m intrigued!

Another amazing box! This was perfectly suited to my tastes as I adore all the fandoms that the goodies were inspired by, and all the items were both adorable and useful! ❤

The values I could source for the magnets, candle, cosmetic bag and book came to $49.84 AUD, but this doesn’t include the bookmarks and art prints which I imagine would bring the value up to at least $60 AUD.

Find Out More: You can find Booked For The Weekend on Facebook and Instagram.

The May box has sold out, but there is a Disney Princess & Villains themed box still available!

Tamara, the owner of Booked For the Weekend, also has a Kickstarter here to raise funds for her new book box Reality Reads which is aimed at the adult market and will contain a book selected from a variety of genres, a bookmark, book sleeve, candle and tea. The Kickstarter has already raised enough funds for its goal, but there are still a ton of awesome rewards available depending on your level of contribution ranging from $15 AUD for bookmarks, $25 AUD for candles OR a book sleeve, $49 AUD for either the romance/contemporary box OR the mystery/thriller box and so on!

  1. Such a colourful and quality curation!
I don’t really like bookmarks/prints as I personally am unable to use them for anything. So for me they are not really worth anything. However this time around I found the prints to be amazing, and the quality of them and the bookmarks to have exceeded my expectations. So much so that I think I preferred them to the hinted at Groot item.

    • I’m glad you were happy with your box after all! I’m the same, I’m not normally a big fan of artwork (unless it’s magnetic bookmarks, which I love), but these were so amazing, I love them all! and you know how I feel about magnets, so the Groot items were awesome as well. just fab all round ❤
